Transformative Travel Healing Experiences
The application process is now open for The Bakari Foundation’s 2024 Transformative Travel Experience and Retreat. Serving families who have lost loved ones at the hands of another, it is our belief that travel can be used as a healing mechanism for families who have undergone this type of tragic experience.
We know this is a sensitive time for any family and we would love to help and support this often-overlooked segment of our society – families in crisis and those whose dreams have been shattered by a cloud of violence. |
Developing Leaders and Rebuilding CommunitiesThe Bakari Leadership Institute Financial Literacy and Entrepreneurship Program empowers youth with the knowledge, skills, and hands-on training needed to build generational wealth within their families and communities by breaking down wealth-building barriers that have stagnated underserved communities.
Our program is improving education access and outcomes by providing underserved and overlooked youth with the tools they need to maneuver through life practically and innovatively as corporate jobs scale back and the need to know how to create and manage independent streams of income becomes imperative for survival. “Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime.” |
Conversations for a Cause Panel DiscussionsDuring this time of social unrest and heightened awareness, we are doing our part to help uplift the families in need and the community by spreading love instead of hate through a series of panel discussions called “Conversations for A Cause” designed to focus on key issues where we can actively drive impact.
Compelling panelists will share their insights and expertise while giving you an opportunity to identify how you can be part of the solution.
